The Sports Supplement Bible Now Available!

This comprehensive book covers over 60 supplement ingredients used to create many well known sports supplements. I use my 20+ years in the supplement industry (see author bio page for more info) to break through the hype, mystery and bro-science surrounding these ingredients and get to the nuts and bolts of what works and what doesn’t; using objective scientific data and “real world” feedback, in a way that is easy to understand for those new to supplements, or those who have been buying them for years.

It’s also an excellent reference guide for medical professionals and clinicians who want access to objective information on nutritional supplements commonly used – and not so commonly used – by athletes to improve performance, strength, or alter body composition.

This info is what most supplement companies wished you didn’t have access to, because a truly informed and educated consumer is not what they want!

Using this book to choose your next supplement purchase allows you to discern the “good” supplement ingredients from the “bad,” and understand why some ingredients are added to supplements in such minute amounts that doing so is known in the industry as “label decoration” and other tricks of the trade.

I have a level of experience and knowledge of the industry that few, if any possess, and even fewer willing to write about it honestly. I’m an industry insider who pulls no punches; I have learned from consulting to major supplement companies, designing supplements, and writing extensively many years  for the many international and well-known health and fitness magazines.   This information is what I give to  the reader of The Sports Supplement Bible.

Remember, there’s many people on the ‘net pushing books or vids or what ever claiming to know the ‘inside info’ on supplements who have never stepped foot into a supplement manufacturing facility, much less have been hired to design supplements! Their info generally comes from third party sources and gets packaged and sold to you.

This book will pay for itself 100 times over with what you will learn in it, and the smart decisions you will make from it.

Get the real scoop on the best foundational supplements you should have in your arsenal, and what you should add if you’re ready to take your training to the next level and most important perhaps, what is total junk!

This book comes in all popular e reader formats as well as hard copy/print version, so you can choose your preferred method of reading.

these kinds of posts are so annoying because they never reveal the price!

Price is easy to see via the links if the book is interest to you. Price is different depending on e pub vs. print. Geez….

Hey, thanks for making a Kindle/Nook version.
With that said, is there any plans release a similar version for your other products (BBR/FLR)? I’ve tried reading the PDF’s on there but it is too difficult.
Thanks for all the great info!

    • Author
      Will Brink 7 years ago

I would simply print out the PDFs if you have issues reading them. Print one chapter at a time and read. BBR is 600+ pages, so no plans to make in Kindle etc, and BBR/FLR are highly integrated products with their own forums, tools, meal planners, etc, so neither lend themselves to such formats as Kindle, etc. BBR/FLR are far more advanced products (being full programs vs a simple book) than this new book, but of course they cost more also.
This book covers sports supps (similar to the BBR section on the topic) but minus all the training and nutrition info of those programs.
Thus, if you have BBR/FLR, you probably don’t need this new book. For those who don’t have BBR/FLR and want the 411 on sports supplements in a no BS approach (how I cover most topics!), this new book is a MUST READ 🙂

Oh OK. I am a member of BBR and my wife is doing FLR. Thanks for the prompt response.

No pdf’s??When it’s avaiable please let me know.
    Thanks a lot in advance!

      Will Brink 7 years ago

There will be no PDFs on this product, sorry. You shouldn’t have any problems finding a free epub app reader for the Kindle or other platform if interested, and there’s always the print version too.

      • antonio carlos filho 7 years ago

        Thanks for the quick response,Will…
In that case I’ll wait ’till the end of february when my credit card turns the month and get the printed version.
Do you know if ships to Brazil??

You’ll have to look at international shipping. Book will also be on Amazon and other resellers and they probably have international shipping if Lu Lu does not.

PS, yes, they do ship international.

Converters? They are simple FREE e readers or you can get it in hard copy.

I was planning on purchasing Bodybuilding Revealed soon. Is there things in the new book about supplementation that Bodybuilding Revealed don’t cover. Thanks

    • Author
      Will Brink 7 years ago

See my comments above to guitar_east on that. BBR is a full program, this is just a book. BBR has a forum that covers hundreds of brand name supplements, etc. BBR is a much larger product, so if that’s what you planned to get, you don’t need this new book per se.

Smells and looks like a MLM set up to me. I see no actual “science” published to their supposed science section. My advice, avoid. Two, my book will set you on the right course for smartly choosing supplements, which is the topic of this post of course…. good luck!

  6. Kristof De Graef 7 years ago

Can this be bought as a physical book or is this an e-book only?

    • Author
      Will Brink 7 years ago

It’s either one. Links above take you to the various e versions and the hard copy/print version, so all bases are covered.

      • Kristof De Graef 7 years ago

Alright, thanks for the fast response Will, I’ve purchased both BBR and FLR so this should be a great addition to my collection

  7. Chris 7 years ago

It says that the book will be for sale worldwide in March. I’m assuming that also means on Amazon??

    • Chris 7 years ago

Nevermind. Just saw the above post. My bad.

Do you cover supplements that are now considered illegal (at least they are in CA now) such as Tren, Methoxy, etc… Do you cover the hardcore stuff: HGH, anabolic steroids and their effects, both on adults and teens? I believe you would have great insight on these as well, because even these fall prey to bro-science in terms of physical effects and side effects.
Thanks for all your articles, vids, and books. We definitely appreciate it all.

    • Author
      Will Brink 7 years ago

The index for the entire book can be viewed by hitting the links above to the platform of your choice (Kindle, print. etc), and lists all supplements, etc. that are covered. I don’t cover anabolic steroids and such as it’s not a book about anabolic steroids.

  9. Samuli 7 years ago

Damn, this book doesn’t cover ALA or DAA, those two are the supplements that I am the most interested in now..

    • Author
      Will Brink 7 years ago

ALA is really not a “sports supplement” per se but a health supplement. It’s an anti oxidant, and a good one, but I didn’t see any reason to cover it in this book. Maybe in follow ups. I probably should have covered DAA, but I can say if you read my full article on testosterone boosters found here on BrinkZone, it summarizes well my feeling on the category which will include DAA until solid human data exists.

Great book! Great information I would never have known, and the recommendations are the most helpful on what I would consider to buy. And not waste my money on.

Thanx! If you could post that at the site you purchased it (Amazon, etc) that would be very helpful and appreciated! 🙂

  11. Shak 7 years ago

    Dear Will
I am interested in purchasing either this book or the BBR. I’d like to buy either one purely for the supplement recommendations. You’ve already indicated that BBR contains all the information regarding supplements, but it is a complete program. Since BBR is a few years old now (from what I can see), does this mean that the info re: supplements will be outdated compared to this book which you’ve just published?

    • Author
      Will Brink 7 years ago

Shak, BBR has been updated many times, but it’s also a moot issue really. We cover hundreds of name brand supps on the private forums, and can cover, update, etc any supplement out there, so the supplement section of the BBR ebook is a base document for the topic of supplements, and anything new can and does get covered on the private forums as needed. There’s no place on the ‘net to get more accurate to date info then the BBR program via the ebook, forums, etc.

      • Shak 7 years ago

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it very much.
